قرر البنك المركزي الأوروبي، رفع أسعار الفائدة 25 نقطة أساس لتصل إلى 2.25%، وذلك للمرة الأولى في نحو ثلاث سنوات. كما رفع البنك توقعاته لمعدل التضخم خلال العام الجاري إلى 3% مقارنة بتقديرات سابقة عند 2%، في إشارة إلى استمرار الضغوط التضخمية على اقتصاد منطقة اليورو. كما خفض المركزي الأوروبي توقعاته للنمو الاقتصادي لعام 2026 إلى 0.8% مقابل 0.9% في تقديراته السابقة، وسط تداعيات ارتفاع أسعار الطاقة واستمرار حالة عدم اليقين الاقتصادي. وفي سياق أخر ابقى البنك المركزي التركي، أسعار الفائدة الرئيسية عند مستوياتها دون تغير، وذلك للمرة الأولى منذ اندلاع حرب إيران. وابقت لجنة السياسة النقدية، على سعر إعادة الشراء لأسبوع واحد عند 37%، كما أبقت سعر الإقراض لليلة واحدة – الذي أصبح أداة التمويل الرئيسية منذ بدء الصراع – عند 40%.NASA's newest space telescope launches on a quest to explore the hidden universe
