وافقت دول الاتحاد الأوروبي نهائيًا اليوم على حظر استيراد الغاز الروسي بحلول أواخر عام 2027، مما يجعل قطع العلاقات مع ما كانت أكبر دولة موردة للغاز قانونيًا، وذلك بعد مرور ما يقرب من أربع سنوات على غزو موسكو الشامل لأوكرانيا. تصويت دول الاتحاد الأوروبي أقر وزراء دول الاتحاد الأوروبي القانون خلال اجتماع عقد في بروكسل اليوم الاثنين، فيما صوتت سلوفاكيا والمجر ضد القرار، وامتنعت بلغاريا عن التصويت. آلية تنفيذ الحظر بموجب القانون، سيتوقف الاتحاد الأوروبي عن استيراد الغاز الطبيعي المسال الروسي بحلول نهاية عام 2026، والغاز عبر خطوط الأنابيب بحلول 30 سبتمبر 2027. كما يسمح القانون بأن يمتد الموعد النهائي حتى أول نوفمبر 2027 كحد أقصى، في حال واجهت دولة صعوبات في ملء خزاناتها بغاز بديل قبل حلول فصل الشتاء.CNBC Daily Open: Trump's children, stock buying spree in the spotlight
