أكد محمد إبراهيم، المتحدث الرسمي باسم الجهاز القومي لتنظيم الاتصالات، أنه لا صحة لما يتم تداوله بشأن زيادة أسعار خدمات الإنترنت والمحمول بنسبة 35% خلال الفترة المقبلة. زيادة في أسعار خدمات الاتصالات وأضاف “إبراهيم”، في تصريحات تلفزيونية، إن ما يتردد بشأن إقرار زيادة جديدة في أسعار خدمات الاتصالات بنسبة 35% غير صحيح حتى الآن، مؤكدًا أن الجهاز يتابع ما يتم تداوله من معلومات وشائعات مرتبطة بخدمات الاتصالات. وأوضح المتحدث باسم الجهاز أنه في حال اتخاذ قرار رسمي بشأن زيادة أسعار خدمات الإنترنت أو المحمول، فسيتم الإعلان عنه من خلال بيان رسمي صادر عن الجهاز، يتضمن تفاصيل الزيادة وأسبابها. وشدد على حرص الجهاز القومي لتنظيم الاتصالات على توضيح الحقائق والرد على ما يتم تداوله من معلومات غير دقيقة، خاصة ما يتعلق بأسعار خدمات الاتصالات المقدمة للمواطنين.
