البرلمان الأوروبي يوافق على اتفاق الرسوم الجمركية مع الولايات المتحدة
صادق البرلمان الأوروبي بأغلبية كبيرة على اتفاق الرسوم الجمركية المبرم بين الاتحاد الأوروبي والولايات المتحدة، في خطوة تمهد لتفعيله وإنهاء فترة من التوتر والضبابية التي شهدتها العلاقات التجارية بين الجانبين. وجاء التصويت بعد موافقة لجنة التجارة في البرلمان الأوروبي، حيث حصل التشريع على 31 صوتًا مؤيدًا مقابل 6 أصوات معارضة وامتناع 3 أعضاء عن التصويت. بنود الاتفاق التجاري ينص الاتفاق على إلغاء الاتحاد الأوروبي الرسوم الجمركية البالغة 10% المفروضة على السيارات الأمريكية، مقابل فرض الولايات المتحدة رسومًا جمركية بنسبة 15% على عدد من الواردات الأوروبية. كما يتضمن الاتفاق إلغاء الرسوم الجمركية الأوروبية على السلع الصناعية الأمريكية، ومنح المنتجات الزراعية والبحرية الأمريكية مزايا تفضيلية لدخول السوق الأوروبية. أثر اقتصادي متوقع من المتوقع أن يسهم الاتفاق في تهدئة الأوضاع داخل أكبر شراكة تجارية في العالم، والتي يتجاوز حجم التبادل السنوي فيها نحو تريليوني دولار من السلع والخدمات. ويأتي الاتفاق في إطار إعادة تنظيم العلاقات التجارية بين الجانبين، بما يوازن بين مصالح الطرفين ويخفف من حدة التوترات الجمركية خلال الفترة الماضية.Dollar Little Changed on Weak US Housing News
