نشر المركز الإعلامي لمجلس الوزراء بيانًا عبر منصاته على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، أوضح فيه حقيقة ما تم تداوله بشأن انتشار عملات فئة 50 جنيهًا مزيفة لا تحمل شريطًا هولوجراميًا أو توقيع محافظ البنك المركزي، وتداولها بالأسواق. لا وجود لعملات مزيفة متداولة أكد المركز الإعلامي، بعد التواصل مع البنك المركزي المصري، عدم وجود أي انتشار للعملات المزيفة في الأسواق. وأوضح أن الجهات المعنية تتابع بشكل يومي حركة تداول العملات والبلاغات الواردة في هذا الشأن، مع رصد أي حالات تزييف أو تزوير بشكل فوري. العملات المتداولة سليمة وأشار البنك المركزي إلى أن العملات المتداولة بمختلف الفئات سليمة وتتمتع بقوة إبراء كاملة، وتستحق الوفاء بكامل قيمتها مقابل السلع والخدمات. دعوة لتحري المعلومات من مصادرها الرسمية وناشد المركز الإعلامي المواطنين عدم الانسياق وراء المعلومات المغلوطة التي قد تؤثر سلبًا على القطاع المصرفي والاقتصاد القومي، مع ضرورة استقاء المعلومات من مصادرها الرسمية.Nepal resumes flood rescue, seeks technical help and billions of dollars
