قال شريف حلمي رئيس مجلس إدارة هيئة المحطات النووية لتوليد الكهرباء، أن من يقوم بتشغيل محطة الضبعة النووية كوادر مصرية 100 %. محطة الضبعة النووية وجاء ذلك في تعليقه على تدشين مفاعل الوحدة الأولى بمحطة الضبعة النووية بمشاركة الرئيس السيسي ونظيره الروسي. وأوضح شريف حلمي في مداخلة هاتفية مع الإعلامية بسمة وهبة في برنامجها ” 90 دقيقة ” المذاع على قناة ” المحور “، : “مشروع الضبعة النووي قاطرة للتنمية في جمهورية مصر العربية “. وأكد أن الكهرباء المولدة من محطة الضبعة النووية ثابتة ومستقرة. وتابع “حلمي”: “توقيع امر توريد الوقود النووي لمحطة الضبعة هو امتداد للعقود التي تم توقيعها مسبقا في 2016 مع الجانب الروسي “. ولفت شريف حلمي :” من سيقوم بتشغيل محطة الضبعة النووية كوادر مصرية 100 % ونحن نهتم بتدريب الكوادر المصرية التي تشغل المحطة “.
