واصل البنك المركزي الصيني شراء الذهب خلال شهر مايو الماضي وذلك للشهر 19 على التوالي، مع استمرار تعرض أسعار المعدن النفيس للضغوط. حيازات البنك المركزي الصيني من الذهب ووفقاً لبيانات البنك المركزي الصيني، قام البنك بشراء ذهب بمقدار 320 ألف أونصة تروي خلال الشهر الماضي، وبذلك تمتد سلسلة مشتريات البنك إلى 19 شهراً متتالياً، وهي الأطول منذ عام 2015 على الأقل، عندما بدأ البنك المركزي الصيني نشر تحديثات أكثر انتظاماً بشأن احتياطياته من الذهب. وتراجعت أسعار الذهب بشكل طفيف خلال مايو، مسجلة ثالث انخفاض شهري على التوالي بعدما بلغت مستوى قياسياً في أواخر يناير. وأثرت المخاوف المستمرة بشأن التضخم وتوقعات بقاء أسعار الفائدة مرتفعة لفترة أطول، نتيجة الحرب في الشرق الأوسط، سلباً على جاذبية الأصول التي لا تدر عائداً. مشتريات البنوك المركزية وشكلت مشتريات البنوك المركزية العالمية أحد أبرز عوامل الدعم لأسعار الذهب خلال السنوات الأخيرة. وقالت مجموعة “غولدمان ساكس” الشهر الماضي إنها تتوقع تسارع وتيرة هذه المشتريات، مع احتمال أن تعزز التطورات الجيوسياسية توجه البنوك المركزية نحو تنويع احتياطياتها.BYD shares slide as fierce China competition dents first-half earnings
