شهد ميناء دمياط بدء التشغيل التجريبي التجاري لمحطة حاويات «تحيا مصر 1»، بحضور كامل الوزير، وبمشاركة رئيس وقيادات التحالف العالمي «يوروجيت» و«هاباج لويد»، ونهاد شاهين، إلى جانب رؤساء الموانئ المصرية وخبراء النقل البحري والملحقين التجاريين لعدد من الدول الأوروبية. وتُعد المحطة ركيزة استراتيجية لميناء دمياط، حيث تم تنفيذها وفق أحدث المعايير الدولية لاستيعاب حركة التجارة المتنامية، إذ تضم أرصفة يصل طولها إلى 1970 مترًا، وبأعماق تصل إلى 18 مترًا تسمح باستقبال أضخم سفن الحاويات عالميًا. كما تمتد المساحات التخزينية والظهير الخلفي للمحطة على نحو 922 ألف متر مربع، فيما تستهدف طاقة استيعابية تبلغ 3.5 مليون حاوية مكافئة سنويًا، بما يعزز من قدرة الميناء على دعم حركة التجارة والنقل البحري.Trump says oil and gas prices won't fall until 'right after' midterm election
