كشفت مصادر مطلعة لوكالة بلومبرج عن توصل مجموعة أساسية من أعضاء أوبك+ إلى اتفاق مبدئي لزيادة مستويات إنتاج النفط بنحو 206 آلاف برميل يوميًا، وذلك خلال اجتماعهم الافتراضي المرتقب في وقت لاحق من اليوم الأحد. قرارات سابقة وزيادة تدريجية وكان تحالف «أوبك+» قد أقر في اجتماعه السابق زيادة مماثلة بنحو 206 آلاف برميل يوميًا لشهر أبريل، قبل أن تتفاقم الأزمة الحالية التي تسببت في أكبر اضطراب لإمدادات النفط عالميًا. تحركات أمريكية لدعم الإمدادات وفي سياق متصل، كشفت وزارة الطاقة الأمريكية عن خطة لتوفير ما يصل إلى 10 ملايين برميل من النفط الخام من موقع الاحتياطي البترولي الاستراتيجي في «بريان ماوند»، مع استمرار تلقي عروض الشركات حتى السادس من أبريل. وبحسب رويترز، كانت الوزارة قد أقرضت بالفعل 45.2 مليون برميل من الخام خلال مارس الماضي ضمن أول عملية سحب، فيما تستهدف الولايات المتحدة إقراض نحو 172 مليون برميل يتم تسليمها خلال العام الجاري والعام المقبل. تنسيق دولي لمواجهة الأزمة وتأتي هذه الخطوات في إطار تنسيق بين الولايات المتحدة و32 دولة ضمن وكالة الطاقة الدولية، للإفراج عن نحو 400 مليون برميل من الاحتياطيات النفطية، بهدف تخفيف الضغوط على الإمدادات العالمية في ظل تداعيات الحرب مع إيران.Women accounted for almost all of job gains in August.
