طالب الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب باستقالة ليزا كوك من مجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي فورًا. وفي وقت سابق قال ترامب إن رئيس المجلس جيروم باول يضر بقطاع الإسكان بشدة وعليه خفض أسعار الفائدة. رسالة عبر تروث سوشال كتب ترامب على منصته تروث سوشال أن باول “المتأخر جدًا” يعرقل حصول المواطنين على الرهن العقاري، مضيفًا أنه لا يوجد تضخم وأن كل المؤشرات تستدعي خفضًا كبيرًا في أسعار الفائدة. خيارات بديلة لرئاسة الفيدرالي كشفت مصادر مطلعة أن إدارة ترامب تدرس 11 مرشحًا لتولي رئاسة المجلس بعد انتهاء ولاية جيروم باول في مايو المقبل، بينهم ثلاثة أسماء جديدة لم يُكشف عنها سابقًا. أبرز الأسماء المرشحة من بين الأسماء البارزة ديفيد زيرفوس كبير استراتيجيي الأسواق لدى جيفريز، وريك ريدر كبير مسؤولي الاستثمار في بلاك روك، ولاري ليندسي العضو السابق بمجلس الفيدرالي. كما تضم القائمة نائبي رئيس الفيدرالي ميشيل بومان وفيليب جيفرسون، ورئيسة مصرف دالاس لوري لوجان. توقعات الأسواق تتوقع الأسواق أن يخفض الاحتياطي الفيدرالي الأمريكي معدلات الفائدة بمقدار ربع نقطة مئوية خلال اجتماعه المقبل في سبتمبر.Lucid misses second-quarter expectations as EV maker conducts 'operational reset'
