ارتفع الروبل الروسي بنحو 45% منذ بداية العام، ليتداول قرب مستوى 78 روبلًا للدولار، محققًا أقوى أداء له أمام العملة الأمريكية، وهو مستوى يقترب من أسعار ما قبل حرب أوكرانيا قبل نحو أربعة أعوام. أسباب صعود الروبل يرجع هذا الأداء القوي إلى تراجع حاد في الطلب المحلي على العملات الأجنبية نتيجة العقوبات الدولية، إلى جانب اتباع سياسة نقدية مشددة عززت جاذبية الأصول المقومة بالروبل. سياسة الفائدة في روسيا أبقى البنك المركزي الروسي سعر الفائدة الرئيسي عند مستوى قياسي منذ أكتوبر من العام الماضي وحتى يونيو، قبل أن يخفضه بإجمالي 5 نقاط مئوية ليصل إلى 16%. محطة طاقة قمرية وبحسب رويترز، أعلنت وكالة الفضاء الروسية روسكوسموس في بيان أنها تخطط لبناء محطة طاقة قمرية بحلول عام 2036، مشيرة إلى توقيع عقد مع شركة لافوشكين أسوشيشن لتنفيذ المشروع. تفاصيل المشروع لم توضح الوكالة الروسية صراحة ما إذا كانت المحطة المرتقبة نووية، لكنها أشارت إلى مشاركة مؤسسة الطاقة النووية الروسية روس أتم، ومعهد كورتشاتوف المتخصص في الأبحاث النووية، في المشروع.Cotton Extends Rally to Tuesday, Nearing Limit Gains
