كشف البنتاغون عن كلفة تقدر بنحو 33.4 مليار دولار للعمليات العسكرية الأمريكية ضد إيران، حتى نهاية يونيو الماضي، في فاتورة ضخمة توزعت بين تكاليف الذخائر والخسائر التي لحقت بالعتاد العسكري. وبحسب البيانات، بلغت فاتورة الذخائر نحو 22.3 مليار دولار، لتستحوذ على النصيب الأكبر من إجمالي تكلفة العمليات العسكرية. كما بلغت قيمة خسائر العتاد العسكري نحو 3.7 مليارات دولار، وشملت تدمير 4 طائرات مقاتلة من طراز «F-15»، إلى جانب تضرر طائرة «F-35». وضمت الخسائر كذلك تضرر أو تدمير 7 طائرات للتزود بالوقود من طراز «KC-135»، بالإضافة إلى تدمير نحو 30 طائرة مسيّرة من طراز «MQ-9 Reaper». وتعكس هذه الأرقام حجم التكلفة المالية للعمليات العسكرية الأمريكية، سواء على مستوى استهلاك الأسلحة والذخائر أو الخسائر التي لحقت بالمنظومات والعتاد العسكري.Dollar Rises on Surging Crude Prices and T-Note Yields
