«ميتا» تستهدف 10% خفض من الوظائف في وحدة «رياليتي لابز»
قالت مصادر مطلعة، إن شركة “ميتا بلاتفورمز” تستهدف خفض 10% من الوظائف في وحدة “رياليتي لابز” (Reality Labs) التابعة لها، في إطار استراتيجية أوسع لتحويل الإنفاق بعيداً عن بعض منتجات الواقع الافتراضي، وتوجيهه نحو أجهزة أخرى قابلة للارتداء مدعومة بالذكاء الاصطناعي. وأوضحت المصادر أنه من المتوقع تنفيذ عمليات الخفض خلال هذا الأسبوع. وكان قد طلب مارك زوكربيرج، الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة، من التنفيذيين أواخر العام الماضي البحث عن تقليصات في الميزانية داخل وحدة “رياليتي لابز”، بما يشمل خفض الإنفاق على بعض منتجات الواقع الافتراضي ومنتجات الميتافيرس، وذلك وفقاً لما أفادت به “بلومبرج”. وتضم “رياليتي لابز” الفرق المسؤولة عن تطوير نظارات الواقع الافتراضي، ونظارات الذكاء الاصطناعي، ومنتجات الميتافيرس التابعة للشركة. كما تضم وحدة “رياليتي لابز” نحو 15 ألف موظف. كانت صحيفة “نيويورك تايمز” قد أفادت في وقت سابق بخطط “ميتا” لتنفيذ تسريحات هذا الأسبوع.Erdogan's warm ties with Trump offer Turkey an edge ahead of NATO summit
