أكد حسن الخطيب، وزير الاستثمار والتجارة الخارجية، أن الاقتصاد المصري يمتلك مقومات تؤهله للنمو بثلاثة أضعاف حجمه الحالي بفضل موقعه الجغرافي المتميز، مؤكدًا أن اتساع حجم الاقتصاد سيشجع مزيدًا من الاستثمارات المحلية والأجنبية. واضاف في حديثه مع الإعلامي شريف عامر، ببرنامج “يحدث في مصر”، المذاع على قناة إم بي سي مصر، أن الحكومة اتخذت 29 إجراءً لتسهيل عمليات الإفراج الجمركي، ما أدى إلى خفض متوسط زمن الإفراج من 16 يومًا إلى 5.8 يوم فقط، مشيرًا إلى أن الهدف خلال الفترة المقبلة هو الوصول إلى يومين فقط. الإفراج الجمركي واكد أن تسهيل الإفراج الجمركي يمثل عنصرًا أساسيًا في دعم الصناعة والتجارة، مؤكدًا أن الوزارة طالبت بزيادة أيام عمل الموظفين من 5 إلى 7 أيام أسبوعيًا لتسريع الإجراءات وتحقيق الانسيابية في حركة السلع. وأشار وزير الاستثمار إلى أن المستثمر المحلي والأجنبي بحاجة إلى سياسات نقدية واضحة ومستقرة، موضحًا أن تطوير الصناعة لا يمكن أن يتحقق دون تيسير حركة التجارة.Google slapped with $1 billion fine under landmark EU digital law
