أجرى الدكتور محمود عصمت، وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة، جولة ميدانية لتفقد أعمال مشروع إضافة مصدر التغذية الثالث لمحطة محولات جزيرة الدهب، والذي يتم تنفيذه من خلال الحفر النفقي أسفل نهر النيل لربط المحطة بمحطة محولات البساتين بكابلات جهد 66 ك.ف. وزير الكهرباء وأكد الوزير أن المشروع يستهدف رفع كفاءة المحطة وزيادة سعتها، بما يعزز استقرار الشبكة القومية للكهرباء وقدرتها على استيعاب الارتفاعات المتزايدة في الأحمال، خاصة مع معدلات الاستهلاك القياسية التي شهدها الصيف الجاري، حيث اقترب الحمل الأقصى من 40 ألف ميجاوات. وأوضح عصمت أن الشبكة القومية للكهرباء أثبتت قدرتها على مواجهة هذه التحديات بفضل خطة مسبقة لتأمين التغذية وضبط الأحمال، مشيرًا إلى أن الشبكة ما زالت قوية وآمنة ومستقرة. وشدد الوزير على أن خطة الكهرباء ترتكز على التوسع في مشروعات الطاقات المتجددة وتعظيم عوائدها من خلال أنظمة التخزين، إلى جانب دعم التصنيع المحلي لمكوناتها، بما يضمن تأمين مصادر دائمة ونظيفة ومنخفضة التكلفة للطاقة، ويواكب متطلبات خطط التنمية الشاملة في مختلف القطاعات.Tankers near Oman come under fire as Iran threatens to choke off shipping routes
