كشفت صحيفة «الباييس» الإسبانية، نقلًا عن مصادر عسكرية، أن إسبانيا قررت إغلاق مجالها الجوي أمام الطائرات الأمريكية المشاركة في الهجمات على إيران. إغلاق المجال الجوي وبحسب الصحيفة، فإن القرار يُجبر الطائرات العسكرية الأمريكية على تجنب المرور عبر الأجواء الإسبانية في طريقها إلى الشرق الأوسط، مع استثناء الحالات الطارئة فقط من هذا الإجراء. موقف الحكومة الإسبانية وقال كارلوس كويربو، وزير الاقتصاد الإسباني، إن القرار يأتي ضمن موقف الحكومة الرافض للمشاركة أو المساهمة في حرب بدأت بشكل أحادي وتخالف القانون الدولي، في إشارة إلى الهجمات الأمريكية. وفي السياق ذاته، أكد بيدرو سانشيث، رئيس الوزراء الإسباني، أن الحرب تُعد «متهورة وغير قانونية»، مشددًا على رفض بلاده للعمليات العسكرية الجارية. توتر مع الولايات المتحدة وتأتي هذه الخطوة وسط تصاعد التوتر بين مدريد وواشنطن، حيث هدد دونالد ترامب بقطع العلاقات التجارية مع إسبانيا، على خلفية رفضها السماح باستخدام قواعدها العسكرية في العمليات ضد إيران.Trump unveils the new Air Force One, a converted Qatari jet
