«إكسون موبيل» تتوقع ارتفاع خام برنت إلى 160 دولاراً للبرميل

حذر نيل تشابمان، نائب الرئيس الأول لشركة إكسون موبيل، تحذير قوي بشأن أسعار الطاقة خلال الأسابيع المقبلة، حيث توقع أن تشهد قفزة محتملة في خام برنت إلى 150 أو 160 دولاراً للبرميل، وفق ما نقلته فوكس نيوز. انخفاض المخزونات كما حذر نيل تشابمان، من أن انخفاض المخزونات إلى مستويات غير مسبوقة قد يُشعل موجة صعود حادة في الأسعار. واوضح أن النفط لا يزال أعلى بكثير من مستوياته قبل التصعيد العسكري ضد إيران رغم تراجعه مع أنباء تقدم محادثات السلام. نقل المقر القانوني لشركة إكسون موبيل وجاء التحذير بالتزامن مع موافقة مساهمي إكسون على نقل المقر القانوني لشركة إكسون موبيل من نيوجيرسي إلى تكساس. وقال الرئيس التنفيذي دارين وودز قال إن تكساس توفر بيئة تنظيمية أكثر توافقاً مع طبيعة أعمال الشركة.
