أتاح البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار والتنمية حزمة تمويلية شاملة بقيمة 74.1 مليون دولار لمزرعة رياح برية بقدرة 200 ميجاوات في رأس غارب بمصر، المملوكة لشركتي إنفينيتى باور ومصدر. حزمة التمويل تشمل الحزمة قرضًا ممتازًا بقيمة 60.7 مليون دولار من البنك الأوروبي، وقرضًا ميسرًا بقيمة 3.38 مليون دولار من صندوق المناخ الأخضر، بالإضافة إلى منحة استثمارية قدرها 10 ملايين دولار. برنامج نوفي يتولى البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار والتنمية دور المؤسسة القائدة في مشروع رأس غارب ضمن إطار برنامج “نُوَفِّي”، الذي يربط بين المياه والغذاء والطاقة. ويعمل البنك على حشد الموارد من صندوق المناخ الأخضر والوكالة اليابانية للتعاون الدولي وبروباركو لإنجاز المشروع. أهداف المشروع من المقرر بدء تنفيذ أعمال الإنشاء خلال الأسابيع المقبلة، على أن يسهم المشروع في تحقيق هدف مصر بإضافة 10 جيجاوات من الطاقة المتجددة بحلول عام 2028. كما سيساعد على خفض انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون بمقدار 390 ألف طن سنويًا. الأثر التنموي سيعزز المشروع من فرص التوظيف وتنمية المهارات، عبر إطلاق برنامج تدريب معتمد للمهندسين الشباب، مع التركيز على تمكين النساء للمشاركة في قطاع الطاقة المتجددة.This week's earnings scrambled everything we knew about investing in the 'Magnificent Seven'
