السعودية وقطر يوقعان اتفاقية ربط القطار الكهربائي السريع بين البلدين
أعلنت المملكة العربية السعودية وقطر عن توقيع اتفاقية رسمية لإطلاق مشروع القطار الكهربائي السريع لربط الرياض بالدوحة، في خطوة تمثل مرحلة جديدة من التكامل الاقتصادي واللوجستي بين البلدين. رحلة سريعة وفعّالة ويمثل المشروع شريانًا للنقل عالي السرعة، وسيكتمل خلال 6 سنوات، ليختصر المسافة بين العاصمتين إلى نحو ساعتين فقط، عبر قطار تتجاوز سرعته 300 كيلومتر في الساعة. خريطة الحركة التجارية والسياحية يمتد مسار القطار على طول 785 كيلومترًا، مع قدرة استيعابية تفوق 10 ملايين راكب سنويًا، وهو ما يُتوقع أن يعيد رسم خريطة الحركة التجارية والسياحية بين السعودية وقطر. محطات ومطارات رئيسية تشمل شبكة المشروع 5 محطات رئيسية للركاب مصممة لتقديم تجربة نقل متقدمة، تجمع بين الراحة والتقنيات الذكية. كما سيربط القطار بين مطار الملك سلمان الدولي في الرياض ومطار حمد الدولي في الدوحة، ما يمنح المسافرين والمستثمرين خيارات أسرع وأكثر مرونة للانتقال بين مراكز الأعمال والطيران العالمية. دعم التجارة واللوجستيات وسيسهم المشروع أيضًا في تعزيز نقل البضائع الخفيفة والمتوسطة، ودعم سلاسل الإمداد عبر حلول لوجستية عابرة للحدود، بما يرفع حجم التجارة الثنائية ويقلل زمن التسليم والتكاليف التشغيلية.Gold Slides Amid Increasing Inflation Concerns As U.S.-Iran Standoff Continues
