«السياحة»: مناقشات جارية لتطوير مناطق سياحية جديدة في مصر
أكد شريف فتحي، وزير السياحة والآثار، أن هناك مناقشات جارية بشأن مشاريع تطوير جديدة في عدد من المناطق السياحية بمصر. وأوضح على هامش مشاركته في معرض سوق السفر العالمي في لندن أن الوزارة منفتحة على الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر وتسعى لتحقيق مصالح مشتركة بين الدولة والمستثمرين بما يتماشى مع استراتيجية الدولة. نمو متسارع في قطاع السياحة أشار الوزير إلى أن قطاع السياحة في مصر يشهد نمواً متسارعاً، موضحاً أن مساهمة القطاع في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي تتراوح حالياً بين 8% و9%. خطة لزيادة الطاقة الفندقية وتطوير المطارات قال فتحي إن الوزارة تعمل وفق خطة طموحة لرفع مساهمة القطاع إلى 10% أو 12%، من خلال التوسع في الطاقة الاستيعابية للغرف الفندقية وتطوير البنية التحتية للمطارات، بما في ذلك إنشاء مطار جديد في القاهرة لدعم أهداف القطاع الاستراتيجية. توقعات بعدد السائحين ومستوى الإنفاق أوضح الوزير أن مصر تتوقع استقبال أكثر من 18 مليون سائح بنهاية العام الجاري، مشيراً إلى أن متوسط الإنفاق اليومي للسائح يبلغ حالياً نحو 100 دولار، لكنه يحتاج إلى تحديث. وأضاف أن آخر مسح لتحديد متوسط الإنفاق أُجري قبل ثلاث سنوات، وتعمل الوزارة حالياً على تحديث البيانات، متوقعاً أن يكون الإنفاق الفعلي أعلى بنسبة تتراوح بين 20% و30%.
