صدق الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي على تعديلات قانون تنظيم الأنشطة النووية والإشعاعية، وذلك وفقًا لما نشرته الجريدة الرسمية في عددها الصادر، في إطار تحديث الإطار التشريعي المنظم للأنشطة النووية والإشعاعية في مصر. تنظيم الأنشطة النووية والإشعاعية وأوضحت الجريدة الرسمية أن المنشآت الإشعاعية هي المنشآت التي يتم فيها تداول مصادر إشعاعية لأغراض التشعيع، وتُعرف باسم منشآت التشعيع، وذلك وفقًا للتعديلات الجديدة على القانون. تعديلات القانون وتستهدف التعديلات تعزيز منظومة الرقابة والتنظيم للأنشطة النووية والإشعاعية، بما يواكب التطورات المرتبطة بالاستخدامات السلمية والتطبيقات المختلفة للطاقة والتقنيات الإشعاعية، مع الالتزام بالضوابط والمعايير المنظمة لهذا القطاع. نشر التعديلات بالجريدة الرسمية وجاء التصديق على التعديلات بعد إقرارها، ونشرها رسميًا في الجريدة الرسمية، لتدخل حيز التنفيذ وفقًا للإجراءات القانونية المعمول بها.Markets suggest stocks are on solid ground and crude oil could be in for a decline, Todd Gordon says
