بنك التصدير والاستيراد الأمريكي يعتزم ضخ 100 مليار دولار لتعزيز سلاسل توريد تشمل مصر
قال جون يوفانوفيتش، رئيس بنك التصدير والاستيراد الأمريكي، في تصريحات لصحيفة فاينانشال تايمز، إن البنك يعتزم ضخ استثمارات بقيمة 100 مليار دولار لتعزيز وتأمين سلاسل التوريد الخاصة بالولايات المتحدة وحلفائها في مجالات المعادن الأساسية والطاقة النووية والغاز الطبيعي المسال. وأوضح يوفانوفيتش أن المرحلة الأولى من هذه الاستثمارات ستشمل مشروعات في مصر وباكستان وأوروبا، مشيرًا إلى أن الدول الغربية أصبحت تعتمد بشكل مبالغ فيه على إمدادات هذه المواد الحيوية، وهو وضع لم يعد “عادلاً” على حد وصفه. وأكد رئيس البنك أنه لا يمكن للغرب تحقيق أي خطط استراتيجية دون ضمان سلاسل توريد مستقرة وآمنة وفعّالة لهذه المواد الخام. وبحسب الصحيفة، تتضمن الصفقات الأولى ضمانًا ائتمانيًا بقيمة 4 مليارات دولار لشحنات الغاز الطبيعي التي تقدمها شركة هارتري بارتنرز الأمريكية إلى مصر، إضافة إلى قرض بقيمة 1.25 مليار دولار لمشروع منجم ريكو ديك الذي تطوّره شركة باريك ماينينغ. ويأتي هذا التوجه متسقًا مع أجندة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب التي تركز على تعزيز النفوذ الأمريكي في قطاع الطاقة، بعد تعهده خلال حملته الانتخابية بزيادة الإنتاج المحلي وتقليص القيود التنظيمية على أنشطة الطاقة والبيئة.Trump says DOJ will rein in AI 'if we have to'
