تراجعت أسعار الذهب خلال تعاملات اليوم الجمعة، متأثرة بتعديلات أُجريت على أحد مؤشرات السلع الأولية، إلى جانب ترقّب الأسواق صدور بيانات الوظائف الأمريكية، فضلاً عن صعود الدولار، ما زاد الضغوط على المعدن النفيس على المدى القريب. وانخفض سعر الذهب في المعاملات الفورية بنسبة 0.4% ليصل إلى 4458.10 دولار للأوقية بحلول الساعة 01:26 بتوقيت جرينتش، بعدما كان قد سجّل مستوى قياسيًا عند 4549.71 دولار للأوقية في 26 ديسمبر الماضي. وفي المقابل، ارتفعت العقود الأمريكية الآجلة للذهب تسليم فبراير بنسبة 0.2% لتسجل 4467.60 دولار للأوقية. ويأتي ذلك بالتزامن مع صعود الدولار في مستهل التعاملات الآسيوية، وسط ترقّب المستثمرين صدور أحدث تقرير للوظائف في الولايات المتحدة، إلى جانب انتظار قرار المحكمة العليا بشأن استخدام الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب سلطات استثنائية لفرض رسوم جمركية.
