ترامب يؤجل رفع الرسوم الجمركية على الأثاث لمدة عام
قرر دونالد ترامب، الرئيس الأمريكي، تأجيل تنفيذ زيادات الرسوم الجمركية التي كانت مقررة على واردات الأثاث المنجّد والمنتجات الخشبية المستخدمة في خزائن المطابخ، حتى 1 يناير 2027 بدلا من دخولها حيز التنفيذ اليوم. وبموجب القرار، تستمر الرسوم الحالية عند مستوى 25%، بعدما كان من المخطط رفعها إلى 30% على بعض منتجات الأثاث الخشبي المنجّد، وإلى 50% على خزائن المطابخ ووحدات المغاسل. وفي نفس الوقت أكدت الإدارة الأمريكية أنها تواصل مفاوضات تجارية مع شركائها الدوليين لمعالجة قضايا المعاملة بالمثل والمخاوف المرتبطة بالأمن القومي، في إشارة إلى أن هذه المحادثات قد تفضي إلى اتفاقيات إضافية تؤدي إلى مزيد من التأجيل أو إعادة النظر في الرسوم المستقبلية.
