تويوتا تستثمر 680 مليون يورو لإنتاج أولى سياراتها الكهربائية في أوروبا
أعلنت شركة تويوتا اليابانية أنها ستستثمر 680 مليون يورو (792 مليون دولار) في إنشاء خط إنتاج جديد بمصنعها في مدينة كولين التشيكية، لتصنيع أول سيارة كهربائية تعمل بالبطارية لشركة تويوتا في القارة الأوروبية. وذكرت وكالة أسوشيتد برس أن الاستثمار سيُنفذ بدعم من الحكومة التشيكية عبر حافز مالي يبلغ 64 مليون يورو (75 مليون دولار)، بهدف توسيع المصنع القائم على بُعد 50 كيلومترًا شرق براغ. وقال بيتر فيالا، رئيس الوزراء التشيكي، إن المشروع سيوفر 245 وظيفة جديدة، تضاف إلى القوى العاملة الحالية بالمصنع والتي تبلغ 3200 موظف. مبيعات قياسية لتويوتا يأتي هذا التوسع في وقت تواصل فيه تويوتا تحقيق نتائج قوية؛ إذ سجلت الشركة في يوليو الماضي مستوى قياسيًا في الإنتاج والمبيعات للشهر السابع على التوالي، مدفوعة بزيادة الطلب في السوقين الأمريكية والصينية. كما استفادت الشركة من الإقبال الكبير على سياراتها الهجينة، ومن تسابق المستهلكين على الشراء قبل دخول الرسوم الجمركية الجديدة التي فرضتها إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب على السيارات وقطع الغيار المستوردة حيز التنفيذ.'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' chases 'Avengers: Endgame' opening record with $355 million domestic debut
