توقع ديفيد تايت، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجلس الذهب العالمي، ارتفاع سعر أونصة الذهب إلى 5000 دولار “مرتفع جداً”، نتيجة حالة القلق التي تنتاب العالم، واستمرار عمليات شراء المعدن الأصفر من قِبل البنوك المركزية، خاصة في الدول النامية. مجلس الذهب العالمي وأوضح الرئيس التنفيذي لمجلس الذهب العالمي، على هامش مؤتمر دبي للمعادن الثمينة، العوامل التي دفعت أسعار المعدن الأصفر للارتفاع هذا العام. حيث اعتبر أن رسوم ترامب الجمركية قفزت بمنحنى العائد الأمريكي نتيجة اهتزاز الثقة مما دفع للتحوط بالذهب. وأضاف أن البنوك المركزية أيضاً سارعت إلى شراء الذهب خوفاً من حدوث انهيار مالي شامل، وتوقع أن تواصل الدول النامية والبلدان التي تعاني عملاتها من هشاشة الشراء. الشراء العالمي للذهب وأكد أن التوقعات كانت تشير إلى وصول حجم الشراء العالمي للذهب هذا العام إلى 700 طن؛ “لكننا شهدنا بعض التباطؤ، إذ بلغ ما تم شراؤه 600 طن حتى الآن”.What is the White House press pool and why does it matter?
