قال محمد معيط المدير التنفيذي بصندوق النقد الدولي، تحويلات المصريين العامليين بالخارج ارتفعت لتصل إلى 40 مليار دولار و 45 مليار دولار صادرات للخارج. وأكد محمد معيط في حواره مع الإعلامي أحمد موسى في برنامجه “على مسئوليتي ” المذاع على قناة ” صدى البلد”، أن مصر مرت بأزمة اقتصادية قاسية وشديدة للغاية شعر بها المواطن المصري. جائحة كورونا وقال: الأزمة الاقتصادية التي حدثت في مصر بدأت بسبب جائحة كورونا والموجات التضخمية العالمية وحرب روسيا وأوكرانيا وأخرها حرب غزة “. وأشار إلى أنه كان من الضروري العمل على عودة ثقة المستثمرين في الاقتصاد المصري من جديد وهذا ما عكفت الدولة على فعله ونشهد حاليا زيادة حجم المستثمرين وزيادة تحويلات المصريين في الخارج”.A new arms race is unfolding on the ocean floor
