مصانع السكر تستقبل 12.6 مليون طن بنجر بقيمة 29 مليار جنيه

كشفت بيانات رسمية صادرة عن وزارة الزراعة أن مصانع السكر في مصر استقبلت نحو 12.6 مليون طن من محصول بنجر السكر حتى 20 يونيو الماضي، بقيمة تقترب من 29 مليار جنيه. وأظهرت البيانات تراجع الكميات الموردة للمصانع بنحو 300 ألف طن مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من الموسم الماضي، لتسجل 12.6 مليون طن مقابل 12.9 مليون طن، كما انخفضت المساحات الموردة إلى 570 ألف فدان مقابل 588 ألف فدان خلال الفترة نفسها من الموسم الماضي. انخفاض المساحات المزروعة وقال مصطفى عبد الجواد، رئيس مجلس المحاصيل السكرية، إن تراجع التوريدات جاء نتيجة انخفاض إجمالي المساحات المزروعة ببنجر السكر خلال الموسم الجاري بنحو 80 ألف فدان، لتبلغ 700 ألف فدان مقارنة بالموسم الماضي. الإنتاج المتوقع وأوضح عبد الجواد أن تراجع التوريدات يعد محدودًا ولن يؤثر على الإنتاج النهائي من السكر، متوقعًا أن يسجل الموسم الحالي إنتاجًا قريبًا من مستويات الموسم الماضي، في ظل استمرار موسم تشغيل المصانع حتى نهاية يوليو الجاري على الأقل.
