«معيط»: زيادة فوائد ديون مصر إلى 2.5 تريليون جنيه بسبب ارتفاع سعر صرف الدولار 

أكد محمد معيط، المدير التنفيذي بصندوق النقد الدولي، أن ارتفاع سعر صرف الدولار أدي إلى زيادة فوائد ديون مصر إلى 2.5 تريليون جنيه. وقال محمد معيط، خلال لقائه مع الإعلامي أحمد موسى، مُقدّم برنامج «على مسئوليتي»، عبر قناة «صدى البلد»، إن الدول عادة ما تلجأ إلى الصندوق عندما لا تتوافر لديها مصادر أخرى للتمويل، موضحًا أن ارتفاع خدمة الدين جاء نتيجة عوامل متعددة مرتبطة بالإصلاح الاقتصادي وأسعار الصرف. وأوضح إن فوائد الديون بلغت نحو 480 مليار جنيه عند بداية برنامج الإصلاح الاقتصادي، بينما بلغ حجم الإنفاق 5.7 تريليون جنيه والإيرادات 3.1 تريليون جنيه، مما أدى إلى عجز مالي يقارب 1.5 تريليون جنيه. فوائد الديون وأشار إلى أن فوائد الديون قفزت إلى ثلاثة أضعاف، إذ بدأت عند 480 مليار جنيه لتصل اليوم إلى حوالي 2 تريليون جنيه، موضحًا أن سعر صرف الدولار في عام 2021 كان 15 جنيهًا، بينما بلغ الآن 47.5 جنيه، ما يمثل فرقًا بقيمة 32 جنيهًا، ويعادل كل جنيه فرق في سعر الصرف نحو 80 مليار جنيه، ما أدى إلى زيادة حجم الدين في الموازنة العامة للدولة إلى 2.5 تريليون جنيه.
