«ميتا» توقف تطبيق «ماسنجر» عن العمل في 16 أبريل الجاري

أعلنت Meta عن إيقاف الموقع الإلكتروني المستقل لتطبيق Messenger، على أن يدخل القرار حيز التنفيذ في 16 أبريل الجاري. وأوضحت الشركة أنه بعد هذا التاريخ، لن يكون الموقع متاحًا، وسيُطلب من المستخدمين تسجيل الدخول إلى حساباتهم على Facebook لإرسال واستقبال الرسائل عبر الإنترنت. تحويل المستخدمين تلقائيًا وأشارت «ميتا» إلى أنه سيتم تحويل المستخدمين تلقائيًا بعد إغلاق الموقع إلى صفحة facebook/messages لاستخدام خدمة الرسائل عبر أجهزة الكمبيوتر، في إطار تسهيل الوصول للخدمة من خلال منصة موحدة. استمرار التطبيق على الهواتف وأكدت الشركة استمرار عمل تطبيق «ماسنجر» على أنظمة iOS وأندرويد بشكل طبيعي، دون أي تغييرات للمستخدمين على الهواتف الذكية. دمج خدمات المراسلة ويأتي هذا القرار بعد أشهر من إيقاف تطبيقات «ماسنجر» المستقلة على أجهزة الكمبيوتر بنظامي ويندوز وماك، ضمن توجه «ميتا» لدمج خدمات المراسلة داخل «فيسبوك»، بدلاً من تشغيل منصات منفصلة.
