كشفت بيانات صادرة عن S&P Global Market Intelligence أن أكثر من 717 شركة أمريكية أعلنت إفلاسها خلال الأحد عشر شهرًا الأولى من العام الحالي، بزيادة قدرها 14% مقارنة بعام 2024، وهو ما أسفر عن فقدان نحو 70 ألف وظيفة. إفلاس شركات أمريكية وأفادت شركة Cornerstone Research بأن 17 شركة كبرى تتجاوز إيراداتها مليار دولار تقدمت بطلبات إفلاس بين يناير ويونيو فقط، وهو أعلى عدد يتم تسجيله خلال نصف عام منذ جائحة كورونا في 2020. وأظهرت البيانات أن القطاعات الأكثر تضررًا شملت الصناعة والبناء والنقل، في ظل ارتفاع تكاليف سلاسل الإمداد نتيجة الرسوم الجمركية، إلى جانب استمرار معدلات التضخم المرتفعة وأسعار الفائدة القياسية. الاقتصاد الأمريكي وفي سياق متصل، أعلنت وزارة التجارة الأمريكية ارتفاع الناتج المحلي الإجمالي للبلاد بنسبة 4.3% خلال الفترة من يوليو إلى سبتمبر، مقارنة بمعدل نمو بلغ 3.8% في الربع الثاني من العام. وسجل الاقتصاد الأمريكي نموًا قويًا ومفاجئًا بلغ 4.3% على أساس سنوي خلال الربع الثالث من عام 2025، مدفوعًا بزيادة إنفاق المستهلكين والصادرات والإنفاق الحكومي. ورغم ذلك، لا يزال معدل التضخم أعلى من المستويات المستهدفة لدى مجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي، إذ ارتفع مؤشر نفقات الاستهلاك الشخصي بنسبة 2.8% على أساس سنوي في الربع الثالث، مقابل 2.1% في الربع الثاني.Google's Gemini becomes latest AI model to break out and hack computer systems
